FIRE BAN HAS BEEN DECLARED IN BEISEKER & ROCKY VIEW COUNTY – EFFECTIVE MAY 11, 2023

Due to current conditions, Beiseker and Rocky View County has issued a FIRE BAN, effectively MAY 11, 2023 at 14:00.

During a FIRE BAN, all burning and fireworks permits are suspended, and BURNING IS BANNED, with the following exceptions:

Indoor household fireplaces
Camp Stoves (properly attended)
Barbeques (charcoal briquettes, propane, or natural gas)
Wood pellet grills
Propane/natural gas fire pit
Oil Well Flaring (registration required)

 Fires contained within approved facilities and appliances in designated camping and recreational

areas

 Oil well flaring (must register with central fire dispatch at 403‐264‐1022)
