All dogs and cats over three (3) months old must be licensed through the Village of Beiseker annually. This includes all pets that are kept indoors.
If an owner has more than three (3) dogs aged three (3) months or older, they must apply for, obtain and adhere to all conditions of a permit to operate a kennel.
If an owner has more than three (3) cats aged three (3) months or older, they must apply for, obtain and adhere to all conditions of a permit to operate a kennel.
The owner of any pet running at large without a license will be subject to a fine.
Dog and Cat licenses are due by January 31st of each year. License fees will double after January 31st. If you move to the Village of Beiseker after January 31st or have obtained a pet after January 31st, you will only pay the annual fee.
License Fees
Dogs – $15.00 per year for altered dogs (with veterinary proof)
$30.00 per year for unaltered dogs
Cats – $15.00 per year for altered cats (with veterinary proof)
$30.00 per year for unaltered cats
