Garbage Pickup
When: Thursday, September 11th, garbage collection will take place every Thursday for the entire Village (residential and commercial) – all on the same day.
The Village of Beiseker thanks all residents for participating in the recent bi-weekly garbage pickup pilot project. After careful consideration, Council has decided to discontinue the bi-weekly schedule and return to weekly pickups.
Council feels this schedule will better accommodate residents while also allowing Public Works the time needed to complete collection in a single day.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
-> Weekly garbage pickup will now be every Thursday. If garbage day falls on a Statutory holiday, garbage will be picked up the day before (Wednesday).
-> Please have garbage placed at your curb by 07:00 a.m. on pickup day.
Only use the grey bin provided by the Village of Beiseker. If you have additional garbage that will not fit in the grey bin, bagged household garbage can be taken to the Transfer Station for a charge of $5.00 per bag .
Please note: all garbage that is placed in the provided grey bin must be in tied garbage bags. Bins that contain loose garbage will not be picked up.
Recycling Pickup
When: Every Second Friday
Place your blue bin in front of your residence/business by 7:00 am on the scheduled Friday mornings for pick up.

Recycling Depot & Transfer Station Hours:
Summer Hours Wednesday to Saturday: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Winter Hours Thursday to Saturday: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
We accept newspapers, magazines, flyers, junk mail, catalogues, phone books, white bond paper, cardboard (flattened) shredded paper, food cans (cleaned & squashed), all numbers of plastic, milk jugs and cartons (clean, capless & crushed), returnable beverages containers, tin. We do not accept Styrofoam, lightbulbs, glass or sheet plastic (saran wrap, bubble wrap, garbage bags, etc). Please dispose of these in your regular garbage in tied bags.
